Working in tandem with my friend Joey Spanjers, we created “Mt Mushmore, Higher Elevations.” Our aim is to provide an inclusive space for the rapidly growing conversation surrounding mushrooms.
We also offer this curated experience to the community, to festivals, events, and privately to organizations.
Our gatherings feature a variety of entertainment, unique touches, as well as education from subject matter experts. Enjoy a creative and nutritious meal that highlights the diverse range of culinary mushrooms.

In the midst of the uncertainty and weirdness that was 2020, a pivotal moment arose for me. My partner had a significant health scare a week before lockdown. The collective pause in our fast-paced lives prompted us to deeply reflect and confront the fragility of life and establish a community organization that raises funds for the Kawasaki Disease Foundation.
This endeavor, called The Last 6, holds a special place in our hearts.
